About the Role

A leader in the Wholesale Distribution of Health and Wellness products, is seeking a Controller to join their dynamic team in managing and leading their accounting and financial reporting activities. This role is vital in ensuring that the financial landscape is accurately represented and well-communicated, supporting the strategic decisions of the management team.


What does the day-to-day look like?

You will be at the forefront of month-end and year-end closings, processing to guarantee that their financial statements accurately reflect the company’s financial status.
Innovating and improving their financial planning and reporting processes will be a key part of your role, as well as managing the company's financial data warehouse and BI tools.
Your analytical prowess will provide deep insights into company results, driving financial modeling and operational excellence across the organization.
Leading and nurturing your team, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
You'll also manage corporate credit, oversee payroll processing backups, and ensure all financial operations such as forecasting, budget planning, and performance reporting run smoothly.


Who are we looking for?

You’re an ideal candidate if you:
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with a Master’s or professional designation (CMA or CPA) preferred.
Have a minimum of five years of experience, with a preference for those who bring ten or more years to the table and have familiarity with Sage, Sage X3, SEI, and Tableau (ideal, not required!).
Are proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledgeable about accounting software systems.
Demonstrate the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with strong verbal, analytical, organizational, and written skills.
Are a detail-oriented team player who is highly motivated and capable of independent work.
